I'm back home, catching up on work in the garden and the house. The weather has completely changed, finally it has rained here, it has also rained in Seville and done what I always thought might happen, it rained off a Holy Week procession yesterday, so sad for the young people who were participating.
Since I came back my right hip has been bothersome, I think if I am going to manage to cross the Pyrenees I really do need to do it this year. I want to be in Paris in October to see/hear Juan Diego Flores and Natalie Dessai in La Fille du Regiment, always assuming I can get tickets. The box office doesn't open till the end of August. I will look great at the Opera dressed for the Camino but if I can get a ticket I will manage it somehow. It's at the Opera Bastille, I don't know if that is as smart as Paris Opera House but I suppose so. If I can't get a ticket I will walk a bit earlier, I don't want to be walking in the first snows of autumn.
I fell over in Trives yesterday, God knows why, I just tripped over my feet. So embarrassing, I was picked up by the man from the Ironmongers. He didn't give me chance to pick myself up. Just as well I didn't fall on the Camino, I can't imagine what happens when you fall flat on your face with a back pack on, I could still be lieing there! I think maybe I will stop this Caminoing if I can just manage Toulouse to Burgos in October and Caceres to Santiago next March. Though there is still the Ingles!!!
